Do you offer prices per participant or per event?
Considering that each group/event is different, we take the time to speak with each of our clients to make a free quote tailored to you. Our primary goal is to offer an affordable service so that everyone's safety is within reach.
Are your practitioners certified professionals?
All training courses followed are accredited and recognized. Our founder and main rescuer is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from UdeM, and is a member of the Order of Nurses of Quebec. She also has up-to-date training in advanced CPR/AED, first aid, as well as remote area first aid training (20 hours).
What type of events do you do?
Peak Secourisme focuses on all events that fall into the outdoor description. Whether it's an introduction to mountain biking, an off-piste ski group on a mountain not served by patrollers, or even more. We accommodate 1 to 20 participants with varying risk levels. If it's outside, it's on our radar.
What is the difference between your service and that of a guide?
It is very important to know that what Peak Secourisme offers is a first aid service and not a guide. We are not replacing the work of a guide, we are simply adding one more safety net. A guide allows you to explore new territory with an expert in this area, while Peak offers to accompany you and intervene in the event of a medical emergency. Ex. you participate in an introductory touring event with certified guides to teach you, and a first aid worker present in case of emergency.
I am a guide or guide and I am organizing an event, can your services be beneficial in my case?
You are organizing an event or excursion with a group. You have the knowledge to guide this group through a new playground. What Peak Secourisme offers you is peace of mind regarding the ALL health of your participants. Our first aiders have all the necessary equipment to intervene in the event of an injury, so you can concentrate entirely on your participants.
Do you offer your services to outdoor communities?
Absolutely! Our primary goal is to offer a service that allows people to gather safely. Community is one of the central values of our company. That's why we suggest you write to us to discuss how we can help your community function at its peak.
What territory do you serve?
For day adventures, we serve all of Quebec as well as part of Ontario. On the other hand, for longer events/expeditions, we are open! Contact us and we will be happy to see how we can help you.
